Here's the short version of the story behind this dress. I was engaged, I purchased three dresses, this white maxi dress was one of them. I never set a wedding date and I'm no longer engaged. This dress was in the back of my closet my closet up until last summer when I finally got it hemmed. I've only worn it a few times, but every time I do I feel like a summer beach bride when I wear it alone, but with a cardigan or jacket it's just another summer maxi dress. I attended Beatrice Clay's Imaginary Wedding last weekend and maybe one day I'll have the courage to blog out my thoughts and feelings but until then, all you get is the short story.
